Regular -ar Verbs in Spanish Conditional Tense (Conditional Mood)

Regular -ar verbs in the Spanish Conditional Tense (Conditional Mood) use the full infinitive as the stem and add the conditional endings directly. This pattern is the same for all regular verbs, but -ar verbs form the largest group.

For instance, ‘cantar’ (to sing) becomes cantaría, cantarías, cantaría, cantaríamos, cantarían. This straightforward conjugation applies to most -ar verbs.
