Nouns for “through/along” (use with “por”): la calle (the street), el bosque (the forest), el río (the river), el pasillo (the hallway). Nouns for destinations (use with “para”): la escuela (the school), el aeropuerto (the airport), la playa (the beach), el norte (the north). Practice using these with “por” and “para” to reinforce the distinction.
