Differences in gender assignment for some nouns between regions

Some nouns have different genders in different Spanish-speaking regions. For example: el sartén (Spain) vs. la sartén (Latin America) for “frying pan”, la computadora (most of Latin America) vs. el computador (Colombia, Venezuela) for “computer”. Always check regional usage.
