Use with Reflexive Verbs

For reflexive verbs, the reflexive pronoun is attached to the end of affirmative commands and placed before the verb in negative commands:

  • Affirmative: “Lávate las manos” (Wash your hands)
  • Negative: “No te laves las manos” (Don’t wash your hands)
