Examples of “estar” for resulting states: 1) Estoy cansado después de correr (I’m tired after running). 2) La ventana está rota (The window is broken). 3) Están confusos por las instrucciones (They are confused by the instructions). 4) ¿Estás listo para salir? (Are you ready to leave?). 5) El trabajo está hecho (The work is done). “Estar” is used as these are temporary conditions resulting from actions or events.
