Regular -ar Verbs in Spanish Present Perfect (Presente Perfecto) Tense

Regular -ar verbs in the Spanish Present Perfect (Presente Perfecto) Tense form the past participle by replacing the -ar ending with -ado. This applies to the largest group of Spanish verbs.

For instance, ‘hablar’ (to speak) becomes ‘hablado’ in the past participle form. When combined with ‘haber’, it forms expressions like ‘he hablado’ (I have spoken), ‘has hablado’ (you have spoken), etc.
